Graded pins
Graded pins are commonly used inside locks and manual or automatic fixations of any kind. Sater is capable to supply pins having a special grading with multiple diameters and/or different geometries, including also threading or tapping. We can manage also the production of pins being used as safety parts requiring the application of very strict criteria. Any required specification can be obtained from various materials such as stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, copper and brass. Here below we illustrate, as examples, a series of graded pins from our recent production.
Multiple Diameter Graded Pins
It is possible to realize pins having multiple diameters and lengths according to Customers' requirements.

These grooves can be: torx, hexagonal, cross etc. On specific demand also with a special geometry due to aesthetic reasons.

On some items a second machining operation, being executed by means of machining plants, is need to obtain geometries and tolerances that cannot be achieved by the sole cold forging process.
