Machining

Since several years now we introduced in the production of cold forged elements a new machining department purchasing various machines allowing us to operate on the forged part follow-up machining steps.

A department destined to machining operations after the forging process

We introduced several automatic lathes that permit us to work on the fasteners' body applying a pass-turning process to obtain grooves, balls and diameter reductions. These possible operations outside the forging process do anyway maintain the finished part's competitiveness in terms of production costs and performance.

In this department are operating also some tapping machines to realize threaded holes inside certain parts as ferrules or pins. Tapping devices working by deformation, and not by chip removal, are applied in this process. There are available also some rolling machines to realize various threads of any kind of cold forged product, from pins to special screws. A head milling machine belongs also to this department.
